Consultation
meetings
Medsafe
have announced
a series
of "stakeholder
consultation
meetings" to
consult on
the proposed
draft rules
and orders
of the joint
agency. These
are to be
carried out
in three
parts with
the first
part to commence
in May of
this year. If
you want
to reserve
your right
to attend
these meetings
you need
to register
by 21 April
and you can
do this on
line by clicking
this link.
Whilst
we remain
adamant that
the joint
agency will
be defeated
- industry
and affected
people should
make themselves
familiar
with what
is being
planned and
let Medsafe
and the TGA know
your views
on these
draft rules. Remember
though, just
because they
are holding
these meetings,
this doesn't
help them
get the legislation
they need,
without an
Act of Parliament
none of this
preparatory
work will
matter and
the Trans
Tasman TGA
can't become
a reality.
As
promised
in the last
newsletter
the DVD is
now available
and can be

copy, the
46 minute

and sets
out the history
and detail
of the proposal
and outlines
our concerns
with it. It
provides
an excellent
resource
and may be
