The book entitled "The Ten Day MBA" by Steven Silbiger
is used in universities at the MBA, DBA and PhD levels and gives a good grounding in common areas of business. Having sold over 200,000 copies the book which originally came out in 1999 is still ranked as high as 2,142 on  Amazon in 2004, from millions of available books as it contains material that is both popular and relevant.

The excerpt below illustrates how  large corporates (in this case Waste Management Inc) can gain competitive advantage in a given industry  by use of stringent regulations and controls.  In our opinion the proposed Joint Trans- Tasman agency would in effect create  a similar situation for Natural Health Products creating an environment where only the big manufacturers and drug companies can afford to comply .
